POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Modified Head Coach

 Modified Assistant Coach

 

Season Dates:  8/2026 (Start of Practices) to 11/2026 (Last possible date for Contests)

 

WEA COACHING SALARY: per WEA contract of agreement

 

 

Job Qualifications

Candidates for coaching positions must meet New York State requirements for interscholastic athletic coaching.  Applicants are required to obtain fingerprint clearance through the New York State Education Department and be registered in the NYS TEACH system.  Additionally, candidates must complete all mandated coaching workshops and certification requirements, including but not limited to First Aid/CPR/AED certification, Child Abuse Identification, School Violence Prevention (SAVE), DASA training, and the required coaching coursework for temporary/professional coaching licenses as outlined by NYSED. Compliance with all state regulations is necessary to be considered a successful candidate for this position.
